Drama Night

It's very rare that our whole group ready to participate in a Drama contest,but this was made possiable .There was a Drama contest being organised by the drama society to select the their actors for plays,none of us were interested in joining the club ,but as an activity we decided to participate in the contest.
As usual we delayed every thing for the last moment .We started deciding the script in the day before the drama.But jab milten hain sab yaar ,to kaam kahan hota hain ,so we started enjoying our time discussing script not taking it seriously.Our script topics were

1.About girls in college ,how they attract boys ,seek funders for their daily expenditure.Basically in colleges certain boys have realtion to have that "Status" aut "Aukaad" symbol,whereas girls often like boys spending money for them ,buying them ifts ,etc......So we bascially started discussing this topic ,but instead of script writing we started picking quoting examples from college of such couples.We basically took this topic as one of our groupmates had faced a similar situation.I'll not reveal his name,one of his trait is that he enjoys drinking PEPSI.Keep Guessing his name........

2.Then we came up with a Modern Ramamyan or Mahabharat.As the discussion was going on Sam entered the room and there another mockery made of the topic,our wild imagination began to run,the discussion was interesting .We came with thoughts like potray a girl wearing Bikini and instead of Chir-haran ,she being made to wear Sari,potraying the chagong times that earlier it was considered low to reveal your body and now it becoming a symbol to reveal. We came up many such extreme ideas.But finally we had to dropo the idea as we had no female actors,even if had ,potraying them in Bikini would be ......

After loads of masti at around 1:00 am ,I suddenlly got up and said

"Do u rally want to do the Play"

and Neelu wrote down the line stating that this would be the first line of the drama.There we came up with the idea our script

A night before the drama ,with no script in hand

Neelu started wrting the script ,with most of the guys tired we decided to potrat the natural emotions ,all dialogue would be those which we would have spoken if we were in that situation

.Bhagel potraying a student who loves taking naps,gets up in instances speaks a line and goes back to sleep.

Sabu and Ansari potraying the fun loving guys who love to dance

Manan or netaji,on his enterance into the we planned to play "Azeem-O-Shaan Shahensha"

Animesh ,Neelu n I were they so-called serious people ,writing the script.

Ishan was playing the role of a serious guy ,speaking of morals etc

and our dear Mudit as always demorialising us.....

and so after deciding the role we began writing the play from Scratch..
Akshay:-Kya hume seriously play karna hain??
Neelu:-Haan yaar aab bata bhi do karna hain ya nahin??
Ansari:-Abey I'll call Manan and Animesh even their mind work like rascals
Bhagel:-Rascals nahin Tiny Rascalzz....
Animesh:-Haan yaar play karten hain ,bahut hua technical abb cultural mein kuch karten hain.....
The situation was somthing like Manan n Animesh had to submit a project so Manan coming and poking Animesh to do project whereas Animesh was not interested(The situation is genrally reverse Animesh wanting to do work but this was the situation that day n probably a good scene for the play )
Among all the tension we were having suddenly Sabu enters ...and we start playing JHOOM BARAAR JHOOM
Ansari:-Abey abhi sab serious thee and now we are dancing and he starts dancing
Bhagel:-Thats college life ...

Suddenly we remember the play and back to writng the script Sabu leaves stating that he would get a perfect play script....
Finally our script was shaping up
We planned to introduce special notes n morals also.Basically high lighting the fact that although we have masti in hostel aur bahut baar

Hosstel ki Masti mein hum bahut baar asen batein kar jaten hain,which hold great relevance in todays world...

Apart from the genral discussion we also planned to introduce morals like:
Reservation,Women in today's society(Modern Mahabharat)
while we were discussing all this Mr.Mudit
kept poking in telling that our idea ws bekaar,why not to some standard play,he was not getting the point,we did not want to display our acting skills ,just plain and simple fun.
Finally we were happy that our script had taken good shape,with the end ,as no script prepared.
So we called it a day and were confident of having a good play the next day .....
